The Gdańsk–Kraków Forum on Photocatalysis - Gold Standards conference, organized by the Department of Environmental Technology at the University of Gdańsk, is intended to serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience regarding photocatalysis research and its applications in environmental technology. The event aims to present current scientific research results from academic institutions and facilitate discussion on the latest development trends in this rapidly evolving field. Particular emphasis will be placed on disseminating good research practices and experimental standards within the area of photocatalysis. The program includes lectures by experienced scientists who will present recommended research methodologies, principles for the reliable interpretation of results, and current guidelines for experimental design and reporting. A key element of the conference is the integration of academic communities involved in photocatalysis and environmental technology, with a specific focus on cooperation between research centers in Gdańsk and Kraków. The meeting will provide a space for networking, initiating joint research projects, and fostering collaboration between research units and young scientists.
